We are writing you on behalf of the University of Miami Men’s Hockey team. The team is a non-profit, student funded organization and our home games and practices are held at the Pines Ice Arena. In six short years we have become a popular sport at UM and bring in many fans and a great deal of publicity around campus and South Florida.
For the first time in school history during the 2013-2014 season, the Canes both qualified and won the Regional Tournament and secured a spot in the 2014 National Tournament. After an incredibly successful 2013-14 season, Canes Hockey finished ranked 3rd in the south and 13th overall (150+ teams) in the nation. We followed it up in 2014-2015 by reaching the Regional Tournament for the second straight year and advanced to the final game of Regionals and lost in overtime. We are certainly proud of this success and feel it is just the beginning of a strong hockey tradition here at the University of Miami. It is our goal to return to Regionals this season and advance to Nationals and win.
As a student run, student lead non-profit organization, there is a heavy financial burden placed on our players to fund our season. The University of Miami certainly supports us in a nominal way, although as we grow and expand it is important that the additional financial burden does not fall squarely on our players shoulders. We are asking you to help sponsor our team.

Hall of Fame Package ($1,000), Two Team T-shirts, Free admission for four to ALL Home Games, Recognition on our Social Media and Game Program, Your logo and link on our website’s Sponsor’s page, Team signed hockey stick
Premium Gold Package ($2,500) All of the above and we will designate one home game in honor of your company and participate in the puck drop ceremony, display company banner at all home games, Custom team jersey
Premium Platinum Package ($5,000) All of the above, plus Canes-Hockey all-access pass! The next best thing to being on the ice, you are personally invited to share the team bus to 2017-2018 Regionals!
